Streamlining the farms

We have decided to focus on horticulture (primarily nuts) at Berwick and cattle at Gisborne with effect from today, 1 March. The transporting of cattle between the two farms was becoming problematic, due to the increasing Melbourne traffic, and it probably makes sense from cost efficiency point of view to streamline equipment and operations at each farm. We will also be using the Berwick yards to create a new 'cattle force' in the Gisborne yards, which is long overdue to enhance safety when undertaking herding and husbandry. We will implement this change over the next few months as time allows.
